My mother died on day 13 after a long battle against cancer. Several people went to see the vision and to present their condolences. Well, what should I write thank you cards to people in particular?

I really need not say much. Keep it simple "Thank you for your kindness. The family of the century."
They come only to see his body? eww this is really the feeling that a little morbid, what ..
Now see, that he never wrote thank you notes for the ad only if you have money or sent Monuments ... thats so new to me .. Now let a ask me why they had come to his funeral and all? My mother died in October of 07 Carsinomia and kidney was only 57 years .. Thank you note a few weeks or so after .. the death of my mother was creamated ..
I think we can say something along the lines of thanks for his kindness and being a friend of my mother, I appreciate it so much .. .. sounds a bit lame, but this time of grief, I am sure ur mom, its hard .. My mother was my best friend in the world .. Take care
